I am interfacing the Adafruit board for NXP-UDA1334A to a Bluetooth audio module, I can hear the clear audio output for 16bit resolution.

When I try to configure the module for 24 bit resolution, I get noisy output. My Bluetooth module is master and I am using left-justified, nobit delay, I2S output from master.

I have correctly selected the SF0-SF1 lines both high.

I have tried to use re-sample frequency at master configuration as 44100 and 48000, but both gives same noise level.

I tried to use De-Emph to High but this also does not help much.

Is there any other setting I need to use for 24 bit operation?

I am only interfacing, BCLK, WSEL and DIN pins from adafruit board, the PLL pin grounded memaning hte chip is in audio mode.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
