Other NXP ProductsのトピックUsing PCA9548A with upstream slave (after configuration)

We are trying to use the PCA9548A with a downstream master device. Is it possible to use the upstream master to configure the Control Block to connect to the downstream master, then after this configuration, reconfigure the upstream device to be a slave such that the downstream master can write data to the upstream slave? Based on the PCA9548A block diagram and app note, the PCA9548A operates like a wire after configuration with clock/data able to go in either direction. Do you see any issues with this plan?

Thanks, Ted
