Dear Sir/Madam,

We are using SC16IS760 to convert UART signals to SPI signals which are routed to a MCU.

We noticed that occasionally (< 1% of the time), we will see 0x08 error during data streaming.

The datasheet mentioned this is "framing error".

Based on your experience, would this be likely caused by clock mismatch between RX and TX of the UART interface? As this happens not very frequently, any suggestion on how to narrow down the root cause? Appreciate your insight!

Best regards,

Martin

@guoweisun

1: can you share with the schematic?

2: Is possible to catch the waveform when error happened?
