Hi Tomas,

thank you for your fast reply! Unfortunatly it did not make it better. In the EDID data you posted the pixel clock is set to 148.5 MHz. The datasheet gives a clock frequency of 74.175 MHz. Is this not related to the pixel clock? Can you recommend a guide how to create EDID data from scratch and which values from the panel datasheet are important? I did lots of research on the net and different sources but did not find a really good guide. How are the values for Blank, Front Porch and Sync Width calculated and which influence do they have?

I also asked Tianma for help in this issue. If I get an answer I will post it here.

Best regards

Sebastian

We are using the PTN3460 with the NLT LCD NL192108AC18-02D. When pictures with gray content is displayed this area flickers. Worst flicker appears on attached pictures.

I use the EDID data as attached. Could you check this please if there is something wrong for this LCD type?

Thanks in advance

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

Please try to test the attached EDID which was modified from the original EDID file (2-1920x1080.zip) according to the LCD panel specification.

Best regards,

Hi Sebastian,

You can download EDID tool in below link.

https://www.analogway.com/americas/products/software-tools/aw-edid-editor/

EDID describes total pixel clock of resolution (such as 1080p) and LCD panel does support two LVDS channels, so that it needs multiple two to be used in the EDID (74.175 x 2 = 148.35 MHz).

But panel specification doesn’t have front/back porch timing data, so that I used VESA standard 1080p timing data instead.

Best regards,

Tomas
