7" TFT Display support for MPC5606S MCU

Hi,

We are trying to develop an instrumentation cluster using MPC5606S MCU. As per the requirement we are supposed to interface a 7" TFT display with this MCU. As per the website it supports only up to WQVGA which i believe is 400 × 240 resolution. One of the display we were opting was is having 800 x 480 resolution. Is it possible to interface a 7" display with this resolution or with lesser resolution. Is this 400 × 240 resolution maximum it can achieve?

Hi, I am afraid MPC5606S DCU module offers only resolution of WQVGA. You could possibly use MPC5645S offering WVGA resolution for TFT display.
