MIFARE DESFire EV1 vs EV2

Hello,

I'm currently working on a project where I need to detect EV1 & EV2 cards. I'm using an STM32F207 (Cortex-m3) MCU and a TI TRF7970A as the RFID reader. I just wanted to know what the differences between the EV1 & EV2 cards are in terms of the detection requirements. The system I've set up is able to detect the EV2 cards seamlessly; but not the EV1 cards. Any Idea why this is happening?

Hello,

Please consider that the MIFARE DESFire EV2 is backwards with EV1 so it can be used as a MIFARE DESFire EV1 in its default delivery configuration, still here are some commands and processes that might vary between both of them .

Still, as you might know, there are some of the documents and libraries which are under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and placed in docstore, could you please follow this guides?
