HI again,

It seems you need to press "Read HF attenuator" button in order to apply settings. Now, VUP is 1,4 V (residual voltage, I guess). After connecting the jumper as said above ULPCD is working.

See my results about detection range:

LPDC -> CARD (55 mm) PHONE (55 mm)

ULPDC -> CARD (71 mm) PHONE (34 mm)

Is it normal that the detection range is larger with UPCD than with LPCD?

Why range is uniform across card/phone with LPCD and not with ULPCD?

Regards, Ramon.

PN5190 ULPCD

Hi,

I am trying to test ULPCD for PN5190. I am using PNEV5190, but not sure how to set the power jumpers.

I do not want to damage the board.

As far as I have understood internal DC-DC must be disabled, my guess is to set jumper J13 to short 1-2 (so VUP is connected to 3V3).

Before setting the jumper I have set the ULPCD to the EEPROM, but there is still in 3,6v in VUP.

Any suggestions on how to setup the UPLCD?

Is there any guide with further details about the ULPCD?

Regards, Ramon.

Hi

Due to the detuning effect there could be some differences, it is hard to judge the detection range.

Regards
