NFC Antenna Crossing

Hi all,
I was looking at some NXP dev kits and noticed something curious.
Some kits (like on the PN5180 and the CLRC663) have a antenna that is crossed on the "far" end of the antenna. As far as possible compared to the input signals on the connectors.

The PN5190 dev kit has the antenna crossing on the near end.

Does it have any effect on the field. If yes, what are the ups and downs of each design?

Indeed the difference is between even or odd number of turns.

The target is to make the coil as symmetrical as possible. so the PCB layout style for PN5180/CLRC663 kev kit is recommended , but in fact the overall impact is minor.

Please be aware NOT to copy the copper tiles inside the antenna area: those copper tiles are made only to “emulate” a bad antenna, and must not be copied!

Thank you for the quick reply. It was very helpful.

I'm aware about the tiles and their function.

I've always tended to use the standalone exe NFC Antenna Tool you used to provide. Is the online version better than the standalone one? The only difference i see is the addition of the dielectric field.
