Hi,

I just started using PN7150 and want to understand some values in the CORE_INIT_RSP. The data is :

CORE INIT RSP: 40 01 19 00 03 1e 03 00 08 00 01 02 03 80 81 82 83 02 d0 02 ff 02 00 04 88 10 01 a0

I have underlined the 4 bytes I am confused with.

Byte 6: 1e, according to NCI 1.0, this is part of the NFCC features.

All the NFCC bytes have upper 4 bits as 0. Why is there a 1 here? Shouldn't it be 0x0e?

Then the 0x81 0x82 0x83, I know 0x80-0xFE are for proprietary use, but in the user manual, only 0x80 is defnied

What are the 0x81 0x82 and 0x83? And if they are some secrets, why bother putting it here anyway?

Typo in the title, PN7150 instead of PN532

Please refer to the version 1.1 of NCI specification (1.0 indeed doesn’t define this bit).

In NCI 1.1:

Regarding proprietary bytes, they are not relevant in the response since not currently defined.

Thanks for your response. However, I am conufsed since PN7150 should be an NCI 1.0 controller instead of NCI 1.1 right?
