Interfacing PNEV7462B with Linux using HSUART

I have a PNEV7462B V2.2 board which I would like to interface using the HSUART to a Ubuntu Linux PC. Is this possible? If so is there a guide on how to do this?

Also, which library can be used to communicate with the NFC interface - is it libnfc-nic? Is there an example application for this?
