I have my Raspberry Pi set up with the official touchscreen as well as the PN7120. The PN7120 doesn't work. Occasionally I can detect a couple of swipes using the demo app but then it stops working. When I don't have the touchscreen plugged in, it works fine. Both devices are i2c devices.

Hello Samuel,

If your touch screen is not on the same I2C bus with PN7120, it must be no problem to use them simultaneously. If they are on the same I2C bus and use same i2c address, they can't be used simultaneously.

So please check if their I2C address conflict!

If i2c addresses are same, you can adjust i2c address of PN7120 via pin I2CADR0.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Weidong
