Do you have IC based gas sensor, not large expensive electrochemical part? For example, NFC gas sensor like MIT reported:Detecting gases wirelessly and cheaply | MIT News ?

Thanks!

Hello,

the article you refers to an integrated gas sensor solution developed by researchers at MIT.

This is a gas sensor plus the NFC readout capability.

NXP does not have gas sensors.

However, if you use a 3rd party sensor, you could consider using our Ntag I2C to use it for energy harvesting, powering up a small node system (probably with a small microcontroller too) and communicate i.e. read-out the values from the gas sensor.

Hope this helps,

Toni

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button. Thank you!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
