No, I meant keeping the voltage below 3.6 V, as specified in the datasheet:

Regards!

Jorge Gonzalez

Vdd for pullup on FDpin recommended is 3.6V. I am using a battery 3.3-4.2V as supply. Is that a problem?

Regards,

Jesper

Hello Jesper Selander,

Actually the limiting value for voltage on the FD pin is 4.6 V. But as stated in the datasheet the exposure to limiting values for extended periods can affect device reliability, see below:

So I highly recommend you to keep VDD voltage below the 3.6 V.

Best Regards!,
Jorge Gonzalez

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for the clarification.
