Hello, I am currently using a PN7160 kit ending with EVK, and we used the hat that connects to the pi, making sure it was seated correctly (as far as we know) and it worked perfectly yesterday making sure it was communicating over I2C, but today when we came back to the lab and plugged it in (unchanged from last night) some smoke started coming out of the IC on the PN7160, so we unplugged it
The Pi boots up normally without the pn7160 on so I’m not sure what happened between yesterday and today but it was locked away and I am the only one with a key.
We’re doing a sponsored project with Toyota, and he advised us to talk to the support team, so we were just seeing if y’all had any advice or idea what happened

We don't meet this issue before. I would suggest you to try another PN7160 EVK board.
