I am working on PN7462AU and need to implement manual RF transmitter power control with 3 configurable power levels (LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH) that can be changed dynamically based on received UART/CLI commands.

Currently, DPC handles TX power automatically, but my requirement is to bypass/fix the DPC behavior and manually switch TX power levels during runtime.

I would like to know:

Which RF registers are recommended to control TX power manually on PN7462AU?

Is there any API already available for runtime TX power switching?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @uday_gowda

Hope you are doing well.

Please consider that a device using DPC requires a dedicated antenna tuning. Disabling DPC or setting a wrong calibration/configuration may lead to damage.

Although it is recommended to enable DPC, it is possible to disable it. You can refer to AN11742 Dynamic Power Control, Section 1.2.1 for more information on register configuration.

Regards,
Eduardo.
