PN7150 - developing software nfcManager_doInitialize() stuck

I am working with a raspberry and using a PN7150 connected by USB.

I used the example demoApp and installed all the libraries.
I am trying to develop a software to read and write a tag with raw method based on these examples. https://github.com/NXPNFCLinux/linux_libnfc-nci_examples/tree/master

The software is working, but sometimes it gets stuck on nfcManager_doInitialize(). After retrying it few times it is working again. I can not figure out why sometimes it gets stuck indefinitely on the initialization function.

Hello sir,

Unfortunately, PN7150 support is limited since it isn't recommended for new designs. We do recommend to please explore the possibility of using PN7160 instead.

The GitHub link you mention is intended to be used with our Evaluation Kits. Could you please clarify which device are you using that is connected by USB?

I am using the mikroe nfc usb dongle, but it seems that the issue was reported from other users using your kit. The device sometimes does not initialize the chip.

Hello sir,

Yes unfortunately, this USB Dongle also has an LPC11U24 which drives the PN7150 through USB. I am very sorry but, I can't provide support on this since it is out of our scope. I am limited to help our customers when using our evaluation kits.
