topic HTRC110 PSK/FSK tag reading Capabilities in NFC

I need to use HTRC110 to read FSK/PSK modulated tokens (mainly HID MicroProx), I found out that the chip is incapable of dealing with such modulation, any confirmation and explanation as to why? such modulation should be simple to handle. Any other alternative from NXP?
