does mfrc523 support desfire?

Hi,

i know mfrc523 is not recommended for new designs, but still i would like to know

if there are any desfire libraries for this product? It can be for testing purposes.

Sorry MFRC523 is not recommended for new design. please use recommended product CLRC663 plus.

Please check the product page for more details

NXP NFC Reader Library support PN5180, CLRC663, PN5190, and PN7462. But MFRC523 is not on the support list.
