Hi @Karyliu

Sorry I am not familiar with TI's Tag.

If you need to update firmware, I would suggest you download the latest NFC Reader library for PN7462. There are many demos inside the package. You can compile the demo you need and try it.

PN7362 Power Mode Consultation

Hi NXP,

Regarding PN7362 Power Mode, it is written in the relevant files that PN7362 can support different power saving modes such as S3 and S4 by modifying FW in Windows. However, we are using the original NXP bin file and cannot modify it. Is there any relevant information to support it?

In addition, NXP's bin file does not include TI's Tag it PRO 256 card. Is there a bin file that supports TI cards?

Thank you.

Hi Kary

we can update PNEV7462B/C board firmware to latest version. (including flash and EEPROM memory). PN7362 is very similar.

You can updating flash/EEPROM via SWD interface, or via USB MSD interface.

Please refer to UM10883 for more details.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/UM10883.pdf

For PN7462 family offers four different power modes, that enables the user to optimize its energy consumption. They are

Hard power-down mode

standby mode

USB suspend mode

Active mode.

Regards

Daniel
