Dear Sir,

Customer want to use SPE2 intrinsic functions for MPC5775K in S32DS.

Thus customer choose "newlib" in "Target Processor => Libraries Support". The SPE intrinsic functions can be used now.

But the "newlib" doesn't include some math functions like asin/acos in ewl library.

What's the recommended method to add the ewl library into the S32DS project besides "newlib"?

Regards,

Jason Yang

Hello Jason,

it is not possible to use both libraries newlib and EWL in one project. But there is a solution in form of ammclib. It contains optimized trigonometric functions and it is easy to include this library to project in S32DS. In installation folder in section doc, there is a document which describes, how to integrate this library to the project. Please look and let me know if it is suitable for your customer.

You can download the ammclib at the following URL:

http://cache.nxp.com/assets/downloads/data/en/libraries/MPC577xK_AMMCLIB_v1.1.7_LIB.exe?fsrch=1&sr=9&pageNum=2

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Martin
