Hi Lukas,

Thanks for your quick response. If you know PUID, NXP can help this out?

Thank you

Hello,

This is KH Mun, and I am working at Suntsu Electronics. We purchased MPC5534MVM80 from IC market and sent Avnet to program them. But, it looks most of them are pre-programmed, and we don`t know how to erase and re-program them. For some reason, we were able to program only 50pcs of 1478pcs.

FYI, we verified die and wirebondng and confirmed these are genuine parts.

Please provide your feedback.

Thank you.

Hi @conanmkh

we can provide support only if those devices were bought directly from us or from authorized distributor. If you have pre-programmed devices from a broker and if we don't know the history of these devices, I don't think we can help. If censorship was enabled on those parts, there's no way to break this protection without a password. To check if the device is censored, you can try to change boot mode using BOOTCFG pins and then try to connect debugger/programmer.

Blue - this is the state when device is censored. Nexus is disabled, so you can't establish the connection via JTAG ever.

Red - you can try to set these modes. If you are able to establish the connection in these modes and if you can't see flash in the memory map, it's a proof that the device is censored and that you can't use them.

Regards,

Lukas
