Can we replace the SPC5668GF1AMMG by the SPC5668EF1AMMG version?

Dear Sir,

There is at the moment a huge shortage of SPC5668GF1AMMG microcontrollers on the market. We are struggling all the time to get parts on time. Our hardware supplier told us that the SPC5668EF1AMMG is identical to the SPC5668GF1AMMG version except for the read-only MIDR register. Because we are not using this register we could replace SPC5668GF1AMMG by the SPC5668EF1AMMG version.

Before going further in this direction, can NXP confirm that both devices are identical except for the MIDR?

Can NXP confirm that the SPC5668EF1AMMG has been tested in the same way as the SPC5668GF1AMMG?

Can NXP confirm that the SPC5668EF1AMMG has been tested in the same way as the SPC5668GF1AMMG?

Yes, they are identical.

If you need official letter, please submit a ticket trough www.nxp.com

Even MIDR is the same.
