Hi, mentioned delay after reset was mainly due to reset escalation feature that is only present on MPC57xx devices.

Actually which board you are using? You have only specified used MCU.

Hi

I tried flashing a new project for the chip SPC5602PEF0VLH6, and failed. Please find the attached word file for detail. (S32D Power Architecture MP5602P project.docx)

I came across this post: DEVKIT MPC5744P - Error in ONCE status register du... - NXP Community

where NXP guy mentioned:

In general, the message "Error in ONCE status register during instruction execution" means that the connection between the P&E interface and the MPC5744 chip has been lost during the download process due to multiple possible causes like:

debug shift frequency being too high

a RESET has occurred

bad signal due to bad hardware

Since I have the same error message, I had different configurations of slowing down debug shift frequency(kHz) to 3000

&

Delay after reset and before communicating to target 200 ms

which also does not work. Could bad signal be the only left cause here?

Regards,

Joe

Hi David,

Noted that the delay after reset is the feature on MPC57xx devices.

We have the MCU on our PCB layout, it is not a dev board.

Regards,

Joe

Have you ever run this board? Have you checked power-up sequence i.e. voltage levels?
