Errors running MCUXpresso Installer

So, I have installed MCUXpresso for VS Code and now can't seem to run the installer. I get the error below.

If I press the download button, I get the following error:

I am currently running MCUXpresso for VS Code v1.0.68 on Ubuntu 22.04. I am running the Snap distributed version of VS Code version 1.81.0.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Could you please click on Up to date and check for updates?

If this does not solve the issue, could you please try uninstalling the MCUXpresso Installer and install it from here: Dependency Installation · nxp-mcuxpresso/vscode-for-mcux Wiki · GitHub for Ubuntu environment.

Let us know if the issue still persists.

Thanks Raul. I will try uninstalling. The second image is the message I get when I try the check for updates.
