MIMXRT685-EVK with Zephyr OS

Hi,

Is this a viable option today for building professional Products or is it recommended to use freeRTOS with MCUXpresso?

Will the Zephyr OS be added to MCUXpresso as a selectable OS or is it a parallell track?

We already build Products on Zephyr and we are now evaluating the i.MX RT6xx family for future Products. Hence, the question.

Hi Tomas,

It is a parallel track. We plan to continue upstreaming additional peripheral drivers and feature support for the RT600 as they become available.
