SWO Not working under Linux (Ubuntu)

Product: MCUXpresso IDE
Version: MCUXpresso IDE v11.2.0 [Build 4120] [2020-07-09]
Operating system: Linux
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (64 bit)

Everything is working fine in the debugger except for the SWO functions (SWO profile, ...).

The same exact config and code has been tested on a Windows 10 computer and the SWO Profile works perfectly well.

What could be wrong on Linux so that this particular functionality of the debugger doesn't work?

Is there anything to try and install?

Hi Alexandrekral:

The SWO functionality depends on the target device. which device you are using?

The SWO also depends on the probe connection too. Only the most recent P&E debug probes do support SWO.
