&lt;P&gt;The SmartDMA does not have a defined code size specification. For correct operation, each SmartDMA function module must be placed at a fixed memory address.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Installing SmartDMA firmware essentially consists of copying the code array of the SmartDMA function modules to a specified RAM address.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;RAMX (up to 96 KB) is connected to the Cortex‑M33 code buses and is the preferred RAM region for code storage, including SmartDMA function modules.&lt;/P&gt;
