.mex file compatibility between v10 and v12+

Hi,

I have a .mex file from previous project built using mcuxpresso config tool v10.

My current installation is v12 and latest available download is v14.

Seems there are compatibility issue using v12 to open v10 .mex file. All the routing details are missing in config tools and many errors appears.

I tried to install v10, but not able to find the v10 installer, or any places listing all the legacy version.

Hi,

We are not aware about any particular problem, the config tools are generally backward compatible, which means that you can open the .mex file in the newer version. The warning that you attached is only indicating that if you save the configuration in newer version, you will not be able to open it again in the old version.

If you provide us the original .mex file, we can check and analyze the problem and help migrate its content to the latest version.
