Hi @fabtav ,

Thank you for your interest in the NXP MIMXRT product, I would like to provide service for you.

I think Flash verification is important. Flash verification reads the data from Flash and compares it with the original file. If there are any inconsistencies, you will know something wrong, which helps you to make sure the stability of the system.

Of course, you can also choose not to perform Flash verification, it depend on your need.

As for the question "If so, is there a way to run "start execution from reset" after verification?" I suggest you can check linkserver help, and find any command can realized it.

I would like give a useful link to you.

LinkServer for Microcontrollers | MCU on Eclipse

Wish it helps you.
If you still have question about it, please kindly let me know.

Wish you a nice day!

Flash programming verification

Hi,
I'm using the command line software LinkServer.exe (v24.12.21) to program the Flash. At the end of the programming ("LinkServer.exe flash DEVICE load C:/firmware.srec") I run the verification step ("LinkServer.exe flash DEVICE verify C:/firmware.srec") after which I don't have the possibility to run the "start execution from reset" (start firmware). My question is this: is the Flash verification really necessary to validate the correct programming? If so, is there a way to run "start execution from reset" after verification?
Thank you very much for your precious support
Fabrizio
