CAN initialization Failed (s12zvm)

I am using S12ZVM12EVB Evaluation Board (MC9S12ZVMC128MKH processor, No CAN PHY ,4MHz XTAL for CAN Bus). In CAN_init() function controller hanged up in exit initialisation mode , when it comes to while loop.

No idea why? Any help will be appreciated....Thanks

Which CAN driver do you used ?

Your project is a demo code or created by yourself?

If you use CodeWarrior IDE, you can first test create a project with Processor Expert,

there is example for CAN, test whether it can work well on your board.

Hello Alice_Yang,

Thanks for your reply. In my Eval. Board (S12ZVM12EVB) i have no CAN Physical driver with the controller but an extra CAN PHY Driver is mounted in the Board. Yes, I used processor expert and the problem is solved.
