Hello,

if i enable the spell checking, which is the default on mcuxpresso. (which is nonsnes for a programming language :-)
every change in my source code needs to 10 secounds before it updated on the screen.

this problem occurs only on big source files.
in my situation the source is over 5000 Lines

maybe it is a problem of Eclipse ?

This problem was found in MCUXpresso V3.0 and V3.1

Hi Siro,

I don't see such a delay on my side, and I have source files with >10k LOC.

Are you using the default spelling engine?

Where do you have your user dictionalyr stored? Make sure it is on a low latency path (local machine disk) and not on a network path.

Hi Erich,
thanks for your answer.

I am only working on a "local" machine with Windows 7
on a normal(mechanical) Harddisk, no SSD

and did not install anything in addition, only the MCUXpresso from the NXP Website.
So, i think, the spell checking ist directly from this installed tool.

It is now not a problem, because i dont want the spell check in a programming language,
but it need lot of time to find the reason.

but wondering that you dont have this problem.

I will test it also at evening on my home PC.

Hello,
new tests:

other PC with windows 10, 64 bit with SSD
i have cut the LAN Kbael and deaktivate all virus scanners.

the same problem
ca. 4-5 secounds before the source code changed in the editor window....

tested with:
MCUXpresso IDE v10.2.1 [Build 795] [2018-07-25]
MCUXpresso IDE v10.3.1 [Build 2233] [2019-02-20]

i cant normal work if spell cheking is on.

the 4th PC with the same problem

new installation of the old version LPCXpresso

there is also the problem.
