Hi all,

I am from Ulster University and I am looking into potentially running academic experiments on the heating of food using RF. I would ideally like this to be able to run of batteries as opposed to mains powered. I imagine this wont be to dissimilar to the theory and components behind the Wayv Adventurer which I believe was created with NXP parts.

I am looking to narrow down the components required to run some experiments and demonstrations. any help or advice on the following would be appreciated.

Looking in potential components I have found the following, however I am unsure on which components and which combination:

NXP MKW40Z Kinetis microcontroller

MHT1008N or MHT1004N

2.4 GHz signal generator, (Which? suggestions?)

a MMA25312 pre-driver

MHT1004 final stage amplifier

MMG3014NT1

Antenna - (what are the requirements for the antenna in line with the necessary components above?)

What components am i missing? Linear amplifier? , LDMOS transister?

Thanks.
