Hello,

i have gone through the installation process following the guides provided by nxp and also using the MATLAB tool: NXP_Support_Package_HCP

I have gone through the steps as shown in the attached image.

When trying to install the toolbox as a Add-On i get the following error message:

Toolbox cannot be installed because it is not a valid toolbox file.

Now i don`t know how to proceed. Is the file corrupted?

I need support regarding this issue as i cannot continue. Is this issue known? is it possible to obtain live support regarding this issue?

Kind Regards,

Ramón Uhl

The problem persists. I have downloaded it several times in case the file got corrupted while downloading or changing the extension. How to proceed?
Greetings Ramon

Hello @brianmckay
we have now tested the toolbox installation for another board (K3) and we checked the .zip files of the toolbox installer file that is downloaded. They have a different structure and look completely different. With the K3 bord the installation worked. So the issue must really be with the provided files for the G3 board. They are not recognized by MATLAB as a toolbox file. Could you give me a quick feedback on this and how we could solve the issue?

Greetings,

Ramon

Hi @brianmckay

While going through the installation process, we have encountered recurring issues across several computers. Given this, we believe other users might also face similar challenges and would like to seek your assistance while providing feedback.
We would like to ask if you can reproduce the issue on your side or if you can confirm the functionality of the toolbox by following the installation steps provided with the NXP G3 board files. For comparison, we successfully tested the installation process for the K3 board. Upon analyzing the downloaded .zip files, we noticed that the folder structure for the G3 toolbox does not resemble a standard MATLAB toolbox installation and differs significantly from the structure of the K3 files.
Additionally, we would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to hearing from you.
To demonstrate the issues i have summarized the steps here:
We went through this steps:
- Downloaded the NXP HSP for MBDT:
- Changed the .zip extention to .MLTBX
- Tried to install the add-on
- Got the Error message

With the K3 Board we where succesfull

Kind Regards,
Ramon

Hello @monchito911 ,

Is this the mltbx file that you are trying to install?

I tried on my side and it is working as expected. After you install this mltbx, you have to download the S32G Tools zip archive and from mbd_hcp.setup.guiSetupToolbox to set the path to the unziped Tools folder.

Thank you for replying.

I was downloading the MBDToolbox_HCP_1.3.0_S32G_Win_Tools as the Name led me to believe this was the toolbox.

I just now realized that there is a .mltbx file on the bottom of the list:

SW32_MBDT_HCP_1.3.0.RTM_D2312

Thank you for your help!
