&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, you can't use the same CAN instance for Freemaster and Tx &amp;amp; Rx blocks. If your hardware allows it, you can use one CAN instance for Freemaster and another instance for sending/receiving CAN messages.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Freemaster on CAN with other CAN blocks</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to use Freemaster on CAN, and use the CAN Tx &amp;amp; Rx blocks on the same bus, from within Simulink ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(our target ECU has no usb/uart interface - just CAN). I am using v4.2 of the MBDT&lt;/P&gt;</description>
