PIL TIMEOUT ERROR 10 seconds

Hello everyone,

I am using PIL simulation on KVx MBDT. I am runing the demo in KV5x but I had a problem for timeout of 10 seconds for receiving data.

I already reduce the baudrate but, it still not run. I still met this issue.

Can you have me to fix and identify this problem?

What Matlab version do you use? I tried also on matlab v2019a and I see the same problem. I installed the toolbox also on Matlab 2020a and the PIL example run without issues.

I've noticed on 2019a a strange warning while building:

Do you get the same on your side also?

Do you have the option to install the toolbox and try it also on a Matlab version higher than 2019a? I tried also on 2019b and runs ok also.

I used matlab version 2021a academic. I also try to figure out this problem. But I can not do it.

Hi @CauTran ,

Do you have the same PIL settings on both models (parent and referenced)?

Also, can you share the full log from your Diagnostics view:

I also tried on 2021a and it ran without errors.

Here is the diagnostics of my pil.

I also send you this Matlab file which was run in my laptop.

Please help me to figure out this issue.

I used Jlink as a OpenSDA method.

how about your side? and I want to confirm with you :

what instructions for PIL in KVx Mbdt in Matlab?

I'm also using OpenSDA with a JLink firmware:

You should see when the application is written that the JLINK is running. Also you should first restart the board(press the reset button) and then press the OK button on the Successfull Download message box from Simulink:

I've run also your project on my side and it runs ok.

Did you try to run other examples from the toolbox, gpio or serial, to check that the entire flow, including download on the board, is working ok?

I followed your instruction. But It's not run on my side. For another example, it works well.

I used Matlab 2021a academic version.
