    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying the example "extmode_s32k1xx" on my&amp;nbsp;S32K144 evaluation board, here is the model view:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="model.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124707i5B1039BDB36F2EBA/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="model.png" alt="model.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can build the model and download code to my board, cause the RED led near the USB port is blinking. BUT after that, when I press "connect to target" button in the model window, error occurs:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="1.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124708i150B4D72B7E667EB/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="1.png" alt="1.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; As shown in the next few pics, I have checked the corresponding settings over and over again:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The "MBD_S32K1xx_Config_Information" block setting,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="2.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124709i21F643AAB628AA49/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="2.png" alt="2.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. In the "Model Configuration Parameters" window, "Code Generation --&amp;gt; Interface" Tab, I have modified the "MEX-file arguments" to 1,3,19200, which indicates COM3 with 19200 baud rate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="3.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124710i3D41B3B685E827D5/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="3.png" alt="3.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; 3. In the device manager page on my computer, COM3 is the virtual COM port provided by the OpenSDA software, the driver was correctly installed. It's consistent with the&amp;nbsp; model setting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, is there any problem in my operations? Please give me some guidance, thank you!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;  &lt;/P&gt;</description>
