    <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;Hi NXP Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;We are developing BMS solutions for both a 1500V (RD-BESS1500BUN) and a 400V battery pack using MATLAB R2023a with the latest compatible MBDT version, targeting the S32K358 BMU and MC33774A CMUs. We have a few questions across three areas and would appreciate any guidance, reference models, or pointers to documentation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1. MBDT Reference Example – RD-BESS1500BUN (1500V Design)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Does NXP provide any MBDT/Simulink reference model or example project targeting the RD-BESS1500BUN hardware? We are specifically looking for a starting point that demonstrates:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;CMU initialization&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Cell voltage and temperature measurements&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Communication between the S32K358 BMU and MC33774A CMUs&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Basic data acquisition and monitoring framework&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2. 400V Design Support&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;For our 400V (based on S32K358) pack design, we need guidance on the following, based on the already provided example project in MBDT.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;a. SBC Integration in MBDT&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;SBC configuration within Simulink&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Wake-up management and watchdog servicing&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;SPI communication implementation&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;b. Contactor Driver Control&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Contactor control within the MBDT framework&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Pre-charge and contactor sequencing logic&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Driver status and feedback monitoring&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Recommended architecture and best practices&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;3. Application Layer Reference&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Are there any reference examples demonstrating a BMS application layer covering:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;BMS state machine (Init → Ready → Run → Fault)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Fault detection and handling framework&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;SoC estimation integration&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Current and power limit calculations&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Safety monitoring concepts&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Even a high-level reference model, application note, or example project would be extremely helpful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
