Hello,

The toolbox should work with all new versions but you should take it with a grain of salt because the toolbox was not tested on these version (R2023a+) as they were not available back then.

I would recommend to stick to R2022a (the latest official version supported) if it is possible.

Hi all,

I am setting up a new laptop and need to move all of my prvious models and projects over to a fresh install. I am installing MATLAB, obviously I would rather use the latest version possible but what is the latest MATLAB version the MBDT toolbox works with? I would assume it will work with any but a set release is specified as this is what the toolbox was tested with?

Thanks!

Hey Sorin,

No problem, thank you!

Also, is there an easy way to transfer my toolbox over or do I need to start fresh? Just as I have multiple patches applied mainly from conversations with Marius. If it needs to be a fresh install then no problem, I can go through and find them again.

Lastly, while talking about patches. I was wondering if it is possible to make the offset in the flash EERead or EEwrite blocks to be an input instead of a set value in the block config? Is this something easily modified on my end by modifying the mask or would it require another patch to change? Just as I have a cyclic memory write for SOC that makes use of 40 different address sets to preserve EEPROM life. It would greatly reduce my model if I could modify the offset with a single value instead of using multiple subsystems if that makes sense?

Thanks again!

Hello,

There is no official way to migrate toolbox from one computer to another. One solution that MIGHT work would be to go to the addons folder in MATLAB and copy-paste the entire toolbox on the new computer in the addons folder. Then, I recommend to run the mbd_s32k1_path to make sure everything is in path. Please make sure you generate a new license file for the new laptop.

Important! Before trying these, please make sure you have backup in case something fails.

Regarding the issue about EERead, EEwrite, I don't know yet. Let me investigate and I will come back with an anwser.

Best regards,
