&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you are using a custom configuration for your model example, please try the following: after starting MATLAB, first open a standard model example—such as the &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;s32k3xx_dio_s32ct&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;/STRONG&gt;example—which does not rely on a custom configuration project. Once that model opens successfully, proceed to open the model you are currently working with.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It appears there may be an issue when opening models that use a custom configuration project on newer MATLAB versions.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please let me know how this approach works for you.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Crash when opening Simulink model with MBDT support package containing NXP</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I have been using s32k3 MBDT recently, with MATLAB version 2025b and MBDT version 1.6. &lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you are using a custom configuration for your model example, please try the following: after starting MATLAB, first open a standard model example—such as the &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;s32k3xx_dio_s32ct&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;/STRONG&gt;example—which does not rely on a custom configuration project. Once that model opens successfully, proceed to open the model you are currently working with.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It appears there may be an issue when opening models that use a custom configuration project on newer MATLAB versions.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please let me know how this approach works for you.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
