The traditional method of inserting custom C code into a MATLAB Function Block is only suitable for small-scale projects and is an outdated solution introduced years ago. Today, it is no longer the most efficient approach.

Can NXP demonstrate how to integrate CRC16 code generation—a component not yet supported by MBDT—on the S32K3 platform using the C Caller block to insert custom C code?

The most reasonable approach would be to first generate a CRC example in S32DS 3.5 and then port this CRC example to MBDT 1.5.0 for integration.
