S32K344_clockout_s32ct example no clock output

While learning to use a S32K344 evalboard with Simulink MBDT I've stumbled upon a problem concerning "s32k344_clockout_s32ct" project. The main problem is that there is no clock output on the PTD14 pin that is mentioned in the example project. While checking the Configuration Tool for hardware it seemed that the PTD14 pin wasn't selected for the CLOCKOUT peripheral at all. Although after selecting the pin as the CLOCKOUT output nothing really changed and I didn't get any signal on the osciloscpe. Is there a possible reason and solution for this?
