How do I stop Build occuring before Debug?

By default, when you launch a debug session for a project, the LPCXpresso IDE will build the project before starting the debug session.

This "Build before Launch" behaviour is a workspace preference and can be disabled if not required. To do this go to:

Windows -> Preferences -> Run/Debug -> Launching

and uncheck "Build (if required) before launching".
