Is it possible to download existing compiled code from the LPC1768 device. I'm using the (LPC-LINK2).
I have a working device that I need to upgrade the code on, source is available, but I wanted to preserve the current compiled code just in case something goes wrong and I need to restore the device to the original configuration.

Yes.

Create a new LPC1768 project and change Launch Configuration->Debugger

Attach Only : [color=#f00]True[/color]
Load image : [color=#f00]False[/color]

Now you can start to debug the target without flashing it before.
Of course there's only the Disassembly View available...

If you store the Flash content in RAW Binary (*.bin) 'Flash Utility'
can flash your target again with this file...
