Cannot find CMSISv1p30_LPC17xx

Hi everyone,

I create folder on my desktop called "LPCXpresso" and inside it there are two folders:
- "...desktop/LPCXpresso/CMSISv1p30_LPC17xx" with standard libraries,
- "...desktop/LPCXpresso/LED Driver" with standard LPCXpresso project files.

I imported two projects (as a system files) to the LPCXPresso and during building projects I get an error message in the console window:

c:/nxp/lpcxpresso_6.0.2_151/lpcxpresso/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/4.6.2/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lCMSISv1p30_LPC17xx
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [RGB_LED_Driver.axf] Error 1

I tried to set the CMSIS library path on many different ways but it still occurs.
How can I fix it?

Same problem except on the LPC8xx0.
The linker is not finding "CMSIS_CORE_LPC8xx" & "lpc800_driver_lib"
I've looked at the referenced link:
- The libraries are in the same work space as the project.
- They are referenced (i.e. box check-marked under "Project references").
- They are cleaned and re-built manually, both as debug and as release.
- I've made sure the libraries and the project both have the same configuration active (debug in this case)

A release build links, a debug build doesn't.

I've tried cleaning and building just the debug for both the missing libraries and the project.

I've been through the build configuration. As near as I can tell, the debug and release builds are the same (except where one references debug vs. release)

No joy. The linker is not finding files that appear to be where they belong.

I'm new to LPCXpresso, but not other IDEs. I have the most recent LPCXpresso (6.1.0 Build 164) running on a fully patched WinXP-SP3 system.

Any other ideas?

I've facing the problem same to teslabox. The linker seems still load the old library project despite I've removed references to them.
PS: to prevent building library projects, I've remove all references & set library to library file respectly, see details in attachments but no help. Plz help me!!!

Thanks LabRat, I've just done it! My fault is choose the name of library with "lib" prefix :(
