    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Content originally posted in LPCWare by MikeSimmonds on Fri Sep 27 01:29:22 MST 2013&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Firstly, the USB view does NOT show the OHCI registers!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This makes debugging my host application rather difficult.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I had to write code to copy these registers to a 'dump' region.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The USB setup registers (on LPC1778) has upto 5 separate clocks to enable.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Unless ALL of these clocks are selected, the USB peripheral view 'collapses'&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;complaining about an access violation at 2008C204.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Also, a memory view on the register space (2008C000) shows '??'s even when&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;all clocks are enabled.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;NB: Code that reads individual (appropriate) USB registers works perfectly.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is increadibly sloppy. Depending on the application, we configure for&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;one of device, host, or OTG.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There should be separate USB view for these cases (to avoid usless clutter)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;and they should be viewable when only the relevant clocks are enabled.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Comments please.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards, Mike&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
