New installation, but LPC-link error

Hi

I have just installed the LPCXpresso V4.05, and trying to get the Blinky example for the LPC1114/302 board up and running.
But when I try to start the debugger, I get the following error:

[I]No emulator or board available.
This could be because it is unpowered, unconnected or already in use[/I]

I have connected the Expresso board to my PC, and there is power on the module.
I made the default install when I first connected the board to the PC.
I cannot find any information that i should install another driver?

I have tried to change some settings for the debugger interface, but nothing helps.
Please help! Why does this not work right out of the box?

If you are still having problems, then please answer/try out the following....

What OS are you running?
Are you running the OS natively or under a virtual machine?
Is this a desktop or a laptop?

Unplug and then reconnect the LPCXpresso board.
- Can you now see the "USB Device with DFU Capabilities" in Device manager?

Can you try connecting using a different USB cable - does this help?
Can you try connecting to a different USB port on your PC - does this help?

If you are still not able to connect, then please run through the diagnostics script below and post the results....

No VM
Laptop

Yes, the mentioned device comes and goes when I plug and unplug the cable.
I have tried to reinstall several times, and restarted PC.

Changed cable and port. No change.

So that looks OK. What happens if you now try to start a debug session from within the IDE using Quickstart -> Debug ?

OK, now it connects! Great! But not easy...

But, it runs EXTREMELY slow?
Stepping over a "i++" takes 4 seconds...
