    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Content originally posted in LPCWare by Dave3891 on Wed Jul 13 23:01:39 MST 2011&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am working on a 6 axis stepper signal generator (Step and Direction) and I have tried a few different ways but I can't seem to get the max freq that I am looking to be close to (1Mhz).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am using the LPC1343&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am just looking for advice on the fastest way to do it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My current idea is to use the 2 32bit timers with 3 match registers on each timer, but I would have to use a free running timer and do a matchReg++ on each interrupt and a position++ for each interrupt.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When the match is in toggle mode, how long does it toggle for?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have also tried a version that uses Bresenham formula and one timer, but this one could not interpolate all 6 axis faster then about 200khz...&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So I am looking to have all 6 axis running at a max of 1MHz and I am not sure of the best way to do this and if it would work with the 2 timers and 6 match registers...&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Dave&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
