I purchased two of the Xpresso modules. Do I need to register them both
with 'Code Red'?

You don't (can't) register LPCXpresso hardware with Code Red.

What you do need to do is create yourself an account at:

http://lpcxpresso.code-red-tech.com/LPCXpresso/

This will allow you to download the LPCXpresso IDE to use with your boards. Once you have installed the IDE, you will then need to create an activation code, which involves first of all creating a serial number within the IDE, which is then used to create a corresponding activation code.
