Pre-/Post-build commands not working with internal builder

Hi,

I have defined some pre- and post-build commands in LPCXpresso 7.9.0 and they are executed when using the external builder, but not when using the internal builder. I have observed this behaviour for all versions of LPCXpresso that I've used so far (which are, I think, all). Does anybody else have this problem - and knows how to fix it? Or is this somehow intended (although I can't see why it would be)?

POst-build steps with the internal build work for me (e.g. using the standard project 'arm-none-eabi-size' command).

What are your commands, and what is not working? Perhaps post the output from your build log, showing what is going on.

Hello Skaara,

it might be the same issue as this.
At least you might check if disabling parallel build (I guess everyone uses that..) changes the behavior -- I wouldn't be surprised if it would be an eclipse (CDT) problem.

you are right, disabling parallel build indeed makes pre/post-build commands work with the internal builder - thank you.
However, I prefer using the internal builder due to the quicker build process, but disabling parallel build makes building slower than using the external builder with parallel build.. But at least now I know that it's a CDT problem.
