dfu-util fail: Bad CPU type in executable

Hi,

I have dusted off my LPC4088 dev board and am trying to run an example but I am having trouble. I am on macOS Big Sur and also have a LPC-Link2 debugger attached via JTAG. When I try to debug an example or try to program the flash I receive the following errors relating to the dfu-util and and the LinkServer:

It seems like the board is recognized:

Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: I tried switching to MCUXpresso and everything seems to be working now. Unclear if a reinstallation of LPCXpresso would have worked but a fresh install of MCUXspresso worked.

Hello eblas,

Thanks for your sharing, and recommend use MCUXpresso IDE, the LPCxresso IDE is legacy took, won't provide update and any patch.
